The Community You've Joined

Since our founding in 1985, VRMA has been at the forefront of connecting and empowering vacation rental professionals worldwide, fostering excellence and driving the industry forward. Short-term vacation (or holiday) rentals create jobs and contribute to strong, stable real estate markets. To that end, we advance professionally managed short-term vacation rentals (often referred to as STRs) as a trusted accommodations option for consumers.

As the leading and largest global community for short-term vacation rental professionals, we provide education, information, connection, and advocacy so they can grow and strengthen their businesses to create enjoyable, memorable guest experiences and profitably manage the properties in their care. We also promote the value of the short-term vacation rental experience to the public and serve as the collective voice that drives industry growth and professionalism.

Our Vision

To empower our diverse membership, giving them the education and resources to deliver exceptional guest hospitality and homeowner satisfaction, ultimately creating positive, memorable experiences.

Our Mission

Through best-in-class education, in-person events, and a unified voice, we unlock the possibilities and potential of our diverse membership of short-term vacation rental professionals so they can strengthen their business, elevate the industry, and ensure superior guest and homeowner experiences.
