VRMA committees help advance the association in a variety of ways, with members sharing their skills to provide guidance and support.

Each fall VRMA holds a call for volunteers. Please look out for the 2027 Call for Volunteers to open this fall!

Ambassador Committee

The Ambassador Committee is responsible for welcoming and engaging new members. Ambassadors serve as an important resource to help new members make the most of their VRMA membership.

Content Coordination Committee

The Content Coordination Committee aligns editorial strategy across Arrival, webinars, and podcasts to deliver consistent, member-focused content. The committee collaborates with staff and committees to share content, manage updates, and recommend future products based on member needs.

Executive Summit Planning Committee

The Executive Summit Education Planning Committee oversees and shapes the educational programming for VRMA's 2026 Executive Summit, focusing on identifying and addressing the learning needs of executive-level attendees through strategic session planning and high-caliber speaker selection. The group is tasked with developing innovative educational content that delivers value to senior vacation rental management professionals.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial health and sustainability of the organization, responsible for reviewing financial statements and providing strategic financial guidance.

Foundations Planning Committee

The VRMA Foundations Planning Committee oversees and shapes the educational programming for the VRMA Foundations event, focusing on identifying and addressing the learning needs of property management field teams and manager attendees. The group is tasked with developing foundational, hands-on content that delivers value to these attendees.

Government Affairs Council

The Government Affairs Council monitors government-related matters, develops policy recommendations, and supports initiatives through VRMA’s Advocacy Fund to advocate for the common interests of vacation-rental managers.

Leadership Development Committee

The Leadership Development Committee (LDC) ensures that VRMA grows an active pipeline of future leaders of the association. This committee works to amplify, train, and recruit qualified candidates who will be recommended for service on the VRMA Board of Directors.

The Supplier Advisory Council is an opportunity for VRMA suppliers to interact directly with VRMA board members and staff on a regular basis to share their ideas and feedback on VRMA programs and supplier opportunities.

VRHP Council

The VRHP council aims to set industry standards, share best practices, and facilitate education and resources related to housekeeping operations in vacation rentals. Through collaborative efforts and expertise-sharing, the VRHP Council seeks to enhance the quality, efficiency, and cleanliness standards in vacation rental properties, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and promoting a higher level of professionalism within the industry.

The VRMA 26 Nashville Planning Committee oversees educational programming, networking, and overall attendee experience. The committee will develop strategies, assess attendee needs, and review speaker submissions.
