Honoring Industry Achievements
The VRMA Excellence Awards is the premier recognition program for the short-term vacation and holiday rental industry. The 2026 Excellence Awards nominations are now open through Friday, July 31. Applicants will be notified this fall and winners will be announced at the 2026 VRMA Annual Conference in Nashville.
Please note that only VRMA members are eligible for the VRMA Excellence Awards.

These awards represent a shared recognition of the vision, dedication, and hard work of individuals and organizations committed to advancing the short-term vacation rental industry. From innovative marketing campaigns to impactful community engagement initiatives, each award category highlights the range of accomplishments that help shape and elevate our industry.
Award Categories
Whether you are an innovative property management company, a supplier company driving new ideas, or an individual making an impact in your community, the VRMA Excellence Awards recognize the full industry spectrum. Learn more about our categories below and submit your nomination.
NEW! The Marketing and Messaging Committee will select the top two submissions from each category, and members will vote to select the winner (“people’s choice”). The VRHP Council will select the VRHP Award winner (no people’s choice).
- Property Management Company of the Year: For a property management company excelling in customer service, innovation, and community engagement.

- Supplier Company of the Year: For a supplier company that delivers outstanding service and solutions to elevate the industry.

- Less than $5M in annual revenue
- More than $5M in annual revenue
- Rising Star Award: For recognizing professionals who are new to the industry (including interns), have joined within the past two years, and have already made a meaningful impact.
- VRHP Award: For an individual or team that raises the bar in cleanliness, care, maintenance, and operational excellence.
- Best Property Manager Marketing Campaign Award: For a property management company whose creative campaign achieved clear, measurable results.
- Best Supplier Marketing Campaign Award: For a supplier company whose campaign drove results and captured industry attention.
- Community Impact Award: For an individual or company creating real change and positive impact in their local community.
- DEI Impact Award: For an individual or company taking meaningful steps toward diversity, equity, and inclusion, and demonstrating it with impact.
- Advocate of the Year: For an individual or company leading the charge in industry advocacy for their community and beyond.
