Rachel Alday

Born & raised in Chicago, Rachel found success early in her career in corporate marketing, eventually setting her sights west. She quickly fell in love with the mountains, our close-knit communities, and her future husband Rob Alday. Inspired by this mountain town life, along with a dedication to providing transparent, high-end service to both homeowners and guests, in 2010 Rachel & Rob set out to create Abode Luxury Rentals, a boutique luxury vacation rental & property management company that enabled them to share their love of these mountains with visitors near & far. They started with their first location in Park City, UT and as they grew their portfolio, along with their relationships with homeowners and guests alike, they decided to expand their services to another mountain town near & dear to their hearts – Jackson Hole.  Charmed by the local community and old-west culture, Rob & Rachel have continued to build their Abode family in Jackson Hole, splitting their time as locals in both Park City & Jackson Hole. Over 12 years, 180+ properties, and a diversified business portfolio including concierge, laundry services, HOA management, and a third expansion into Sun Valley, ID., Abode continues to be a force in their industry due to its proven expertise in destination marketing and deep commitment to high-end service.

Rachel is grateful to have held board & committee roles with local non-profits including Park City Rotary, Park City Institute, NAC, Temple Har Shalom, and Utah Clean Energy, while currently serving on the Park City Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and leading development of a new lodging association in Jackson Hole. Rachel relishes raising their three young kids, Bear, Major & Annabel with a love for and in service of these mountain communities.
