2020 VRMA International Conference Session Proposals
A Different Approach
We hope that you are safe and doing your best to navigate these stressful times.
From reopening your doors, caring for your staff and guests, and planning for the future, we recognize and appreciate your hard work, resilience, and the community spirit that will help our industry recover.
At the same time, we also recognize that continued uncertainty lies ahead. For some, you are busier than ever. For others, you are reassessing your business and how you will operate in the future. For all, we are anxious to see what things will look like in the fall, and when we can truly start to return to what looks and feels like “normal.”
In short, the world is different, and it’s not “business as usual” this year. That’s why VRMA’s education committee is approaching our call for proposals differently for the 2020 VRMA International Conference, to be held October 18–21 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The best education comes from learning from your peers and colleagues. In that spirit, we are curating program content to highlight as many perspectives as possible. To that end, we’re offering two submission types:
- GENERAL INTEREST OR PANELIST: Participate in a panel discussion and share your story from recent experiences. Submit here.
- TOPICAL PRESENTATION: Share your thoughts and ideas for a specific session. For example, how you have responded to COVID-19; how you’ve communicated with guests and owners; how you’re planning for the future; or how you’ve innovated and will continue to innovate in the future. Select a track below to start your submission:
|Business Strategy||Data and Revenue Management||Finance, Legal, and Advocacy||Guest Relations|
|Human Resources||International||Marketing||Owner Relations|
|SUBMIT A PRESENTATION PROPOSAL|
Panels should be representative of the diverseness of our industry. The education committee will give special attention to panels that include presenters with a diverse background of location, organization affiliation, gender, ideas, race, and ethnicity.
The committee will review your information and contact you later this summer about opportunities to participate as a speaker or panelist.
Again, thank you for your continued support, dedication, and willingness to share your ideas, stories, and lessons learned.
Please let us know how we can help: Email email@example.com or call +1 (202) 367-1179.
To begin the submission process, you must log in to the VRMA website.
- If you are a VRMA member, log in here.
- If you are not a member, you will be required to create a guest account. Select ‘non-member speaker’ as your speaker type.
All submissions must be received prior to 23:59 Central Standard Time on Friday, July 10, 2020, to be considered.
