VRMA Founder and first Executive Director John Kjellman recently passed away on April 18. John was incredibly well-respected and forward-thinking and had a long, successful life and career. He will be missed, and VRMA is forever in debt to his leadership and innovation.

In mid-April, I attended the inaugural VRMA Spring Forum in Charlotte, North Carolina. Historically, this event was broken into Eastern and Western Regional Conferences, but this year was the first time they were combined and named the Spring Forum.

The VRMA member community lost an influential and respected voice. Jean F. Siebert, who owned and operated Siebert Realty in Sandbridge and Virginia Beach with her husband Jack, passed away on April 21, 2019.
