Louisville Might Temporarily Stop New STRs From Opening

A moratorium on new short-term rentals in Louisville, Ky., is moving forward. Last week, the city's planning and design department published a list of recommendations meant to close loopholes in the city's current legislation. Shortly after, the Planning and Zoning Committee approved sending a temporary moratorium on to the full council, a move meant to stop new rentals from opening while the legislative changes are discussed. The council is expected to take up the moratorium at its next meeting on June 1.
