Qualifications for Start-Up Manager Membership
The length of time a company has been in business does not apply to this membership type. For VRMA membership, a start-up company is one that provides or will provide full-service vacation rental management but manages fewer than six properties so does not yet qualify for manager membership.
Start-up Manager members are eligible for association benefits, including communications and event registration discounts.
This is a company membership, not an individual membership. During the application process, a primary contact must be identified who will be the main representative for the company's membership. The primary representative is the individual who should receive all official communications from VRMA related to the company's membership, including voting rights. Secondary representatives may be added at no additional cost. All representatives will receive electronic communications including information about association events, educational opportunities, and industry information.
Start-up Manager membership is right for you if the following criteria are met. Your company must:
- Not meet qualifications for manager member, but intends to grow as a full-service vacation rental management company, and
- Understand this category is not eligible for renewal. The company is expected to be eligible for manager membership at renewal.
Start-Up member companies pay dues of $350.
The membership term is January 1 through December 31. For the first year of membership, dues are prorated starting in July for new members
