The Prague Airport is 25 minutes away from city center. There are multiple transportation options from the airport, including pick-up services and ride-sharing services. An Uber will cost approximately €22, and a pre-booked car will cost approximately €27.
There are three (3) train stations in Prague:
- Praha Holesovice: Used for international connections to Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary
- Praha Hlavni Nadr: Main rail station that provides international rail connections
- Praha Smichov
The Czech Republic has been a member of the European Union since 2004. Citizens of the EU member states are required to carry their passports or other form of valid identification in order to enter the country. The same applies for the citizens of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland, who can move freely around the EU states. In 2007, the Czech Republic signed the Schengen agreement.
